Dome Revival: American Music Theatre Restoration

When ongoing damage affected the iconic dome at American Music Theatre, Compleat Restorations was called in to restore one of Lancaster County’s most recognizable venues after previously delivering air duct cleaning and carpet cleaning services. The project required more than 7,000 linear feet of scaffolding to access the dome for careful surface repairs, precise refinishing, new light fixtures, and fresh paint. All work was completed during a strict three-week winter break, with our project manager and construction team coordinating every step to keep the theater on schedule.

Each of the 20,000 glass pieces in the grand chandelier was meticulously cleaned by our team to restore its brilliance. Shows continued without interruption, and guests returned to a refreshed, elevated entry way. The project also marked Compleat’s 50,000th restoration, a milestone reflecting nearly five decades of serving South Central Pennsylvania with craftsmanship and care.
