Stephen Zywko

Stephen’s ascent to CEO of Compleat Restorations is a testament to his relentless work ethic and unwavering commitment to his team and community. Starting as a Construction Manager in York, his “can-do” spirit and drive led him to oversee a vast portfolio of projects. His construction expertise and problem-solving skills paved the way for a promotion to Project Manager, where he continued to excel.

In early 2023, Stephen’s passion for empowering others and making a tangible impact on people’s lives led him to acquire Compleat. His vision for the company is rooted in fostering a supportive environment where employees can surpass their own expectations and deliver exceptional results for clients; while the company serves as a commodity to our community.

Beyond his leadership at Compleat, Stephen actively engages in the community, serving as a member of the Northern Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce and Vice President of his HOA. He champions second chances and supports organizations dedicated to substance abuse recovery. A strong advocate for local firefighters, especially volunteers, Stephen embodies the spirit of service and giving back.

Outside of work, Stephen enjoys quality time with loved ones, exploring culinary delights, golfing, and indulging in his passion for cigars. He and his wife Alicia, along with their two canine companions, cherish the rich culture and natural beauty of South Central Pennsylvania.

With a diverse background that includes a stint in Nashville and a self-proclaimed middle school championship in Connect 4 (there are doubters among us), Stephen brings a unique blend of experience, humor, and humility to his leadership role at Compleat Restorations. His approachability and genuine passion for empowering others make him an inspiring figure within the company and community alike.

Owner

Chad Ellis

Chad’s passion for restoration started young – at just 15, he spent his summers learning the ropes. This early exposure fueled his desire to pursue a Business Administration degree at Penn State. While a student, an exciting opportunity arose to manage a College Pro Painters franchise in Lancaster. There, he honed his leadership skills by building a team of 12 and gaining valuable experience in running a small business.

Returning to Compleat Restorations, Chad initially focused on the painting crews. However, his natural curiosity and knack for technology led him down a new path – IT. Recognizing the potential of technology to improve efficiency and propel growth, Chad became Microsoft Certified and enthusiastically embraced the world of water damage restoration. After all, as he recalls with a smile, “Keeping Xactimate and Timberline/Sage running smoothly for 25 users back in the early 2000s was practically a full-time job in itself!”

The ever-changing landscape of restoration perfectly suits Chad’s adaptable spirit. For the next decade, he thrived in a dual role as IT Manager and a key player in tackling large-scale losses, like the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. His unwavering commitment to learning is evident in his participation in numerous training programs offered by EOS, Vale, IICRC, Dale Carnegie, and Violand Management. This dedication has propelled him to excel in various leadership roles, from managing Compleat’s Water Damage Division to Operations Management and Compleat Environmental. Today, he serves as our Principal and a vital member of the leadership team while continuing to oversee IT, Sales & Marketing, and Compleat Environmental.

With over 30 years of experience under his belt, Chad’s expertise is a cornerstone of Compleat Restorations’ success. His positive attitude and extensive knowledge ensure that every project is completed to the highest standard. As Chad himself puts it, “it’s just in my blood.” But beyond the technical skills lies a fun-loving adventurer. When he’s not at the office, Chad enjoys traveling with his fiancée Allison and Bernese Mountain dog, Summit- while he also enjoys exploring his adventurous side through activities like disc golf, pickleball, scuba diving, and range shooting. Weekends are often spent recharging at his family’s estate on the Rappahannock River in Virginia, where he can be found hiking, mountain biking, boating and striper fishing.

Chad’s dedication to the family legacy, combined with his unwavering work ethic and infectious calm, perfectly embodies the spirit of Compleat Restorations. He is a true asset to the company and a key player in its continued success.

Operations Manager

Marcia Landis

Twenty years ago, a chance encounter with Compleat Restorations happened. The company that had restored her fire-damaged property, led to an unexpected career change for Marcia. Appreciating Compleat’s services, Marcia filled out an application on a whim, and the rest is history. Two decades later, she’s still with the company (in fact she’s helping lead it), driven by the opportunity to help people every day – whether it’s homeowners, adjusters, or new employees learning the ropes of the restoration industry.

Thanks to Compleat’s support, she’s earned the certifications needed to become a Master in Restoration. But her passion for helping extends beyond work: she volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, Toys for Tots, and at local retirement homes.

Outside of work and volunteering, she enjoys hunting, spending time with family, Harley road trips with her husband, and exploring roadside stands on country drives. And while she may seem quiet, a surprising fact about her is that she’s a certified dance instructor, a testament to her willingness to step outside her comfort zone.

Key Account Manager - York

Christina Torres

Christina’s journey in restoration began in 2007, when she started part-time while her daughter was in school. What began as a flexible job quickly blossomed into a passion. Today, Christina finds immense fulfillment in fostering a positive work environment at the York location. She thrives on creating a culture where employees feel empowered to grow and contribute to the team’s success. Leading by example, Christina embodies Compleat Restorations’ core values, ensuring both individual and company goals are achieved.

Christina’s commitment extends beyond the workplace. She holds a Master Fire and Smoke Restorer Certification, Journeyman Textile Restorer Certification, and various industry-related credentials, showcasing her dedication to professional excellence. Previously, she actively volunteered at her children’s school and participated in various community initiatives while living in Lancaster County.

When Christina unwinds, she enjoys the simple pleasures of healthy cooking, family time, and the thrill of camping adventures. A natural organizer, she finds joy in creating a sense of order in both her professional and personal life.
Among the many things Christina loves about living in South Central PA are the vibrant farmer’s markets and the breathtaking scenery. This blend of community, fresh food, and natural beauty truly makes it feel like home.
